Marine PFT calculator

Enter your pull-ups or push-ups, plank time and 3-mile run time. You get points, your total and your class.

How the PFT is scored

The PFT has three events: pull-ups or push-ups, the plank and the 3-mile run. Each is worth up to 100 points, except push-ups, which top out at 70. Choosing push-ups caps your possible total at 270.

To pass you need the minimum on every event and at least 150 total. Classes are 1st class at 235 or more, 2nd class at 200 to 234 and 3rd class at 150 to 199.

From January 1, 2026, Marines in combat arms specialties are scored on the male age-group tables and need at least 210 points.
